This trolley type door operator is manufactured for standard
lift overhead doors.
Each electric door operator will be C.S.A. approved;
manufactured especially for intensive use and must be pre-wired
color coded.
Reduction system: each unit uses a large V belt and heavy
pulleys for primary reduction with #41 roller chain and steel
sprockets for secondary reduction.
Dual trolley: a mobile aluminium alloy #41 chain driven carriage
which slides in a dual heavy duty steel angle track for a quiet
and long lasting operation.
Limit switches: will be activated by screw type travelling cams.
The limit switches are easily adjustable without tools. The
motor can be removed without disturbing the limit switches
adjustment.
Overload relay: the operator is protected against overload and
under voltage. It can be reset automatically.
An easily adjustable electromechanical safety edge: can be
integrated to the motor, optional, as well as a quick release
disconnect arm to disengage the door from the operator allowing
the door to operate manually.
Adjustable automatic slipping clutch: protects the door and the
operator in case of an obstruction. Each unit to be equipped
with a heavy duty industrial type reversing contactor,
Allen-Bradley or equivalent, and with a mechanical interlock.
Single phase motors will have a capacitor start.
Three button control station: standard fully guarded momentary
contact to open, close or stop the door. The control circuit is
to be 24 volts A.C. for users' protection.
Instant reverse or safety edge: if the door meets an obstruction
during its downward travel, it will reverse immediately to its
open position or, if specified, can be wired to stop only
without reversing. This eliminates the pneumatic air switch, the
reelite, etc. (optional at an extra cost).
Finish: protected by one coat of rust-proof paint and blue
enamel.
The door speed is approximately 300 mm per second.
Headroom required -75 mm (3") minimum from door's highest point
of travel.
Backroom required -1525 mm (5'0") plus door height.
All units are factory pre-wired, color-coded and tagged.
Wiring diagrams are enclosed with each operator.
Each operator is pre-run and tested before shipment.
