SENTRY HEAVY DUTY BARRIER GATE |

All electrical control components, such as relays and motor
contactors shall be supplied in a single, plug-in controller.
This controller shall be a readily changeable as a package. A
zinc plated electrical connexion box shall contain a well marked
terminal strip with a physical separation between the electrical
service and control wiring sections. The gate unit shall contain
a 115 V.A.C., grounded convenience outlet and a properly rated
manually reset table motor overload protector. Readily acessible
manual control switches shall be provided within the gate
cabinet to manually raise and lower the gate arm and to
disconnect all electrical service to the unit. The gate unit
shall contain a thermostatically controled 250 watt heater strip.

The gate arm shall be driven by a 1/2 H.P. 115 V.A.C., single
phase instant reversing motor. The motor shall be connected by
double V-belts to an auxilary reduction of 5 to 1, which shall
also be connected by double V-belts to a 60 to 1 single
reduction speed reducer. All connecting links and shafts shall
be of solid steel construction. Connecting linkage shall be
designed to provide a harmonic action that shall start and stop
the arm slowly, and prevent breakage if the gate arm is forced.
Each end of of the arm shaft shall be pinned to a zinc plated
steel counterbalance. The gate arm shall be clamped to these
counterbalances in such a manner that drilling to the gate arm
is not required. |
The cabinet standard colour is orange. Also available; white,
red, black and green.
The standard gate arm is painted black with black and yellow
traffic tape on both sides. Also available; white gate arm.

Isolated output and automatic drift compensation. Operates on
115 V.A.C. 60 Hz power source or 24 volts. |

For controlled access to the plant facilities by means of coded
magnetic card. Allows entrance only to the authorized card
holders. Available on gooseneck stand or for wall mounting. |
Radio control, pneumatic or electric driveway treadles,
keyswitches for post or wall mounting, warning lights, three
button control stations both indoor and outdoor type, motion
detector.
