SERIES 700 HEAVY DUTY ALUMINUM PANEL DOORS

The doors will be HEAVY DUTY ALUMINUM PANEL DOORS SERIES 700 .
All doors will be manufactured according to our shop drawings
and specifications described below.

The extrusions will be 45 mm thick made of tubular aluminum
extrusions, 6063-T5 alloy with no less than 2,77 mm thick wall.
The wall thickness of the end vertical mullions to fasten the
hinges will be no less than 4,76 mm. The vertical mullions and
the horizontal cross bars will be assembled together with full
lenght threaded screws. The bottom horizontal cross bar of each
intermediate section will have a stiffener straight out of the
extrusion 100 mm wide x 4,76 mm thick. The bottom horizontal
cross bar of the bottom section and the top horizontal cross bar
of the top section will have a welded stiffener 100 mm wide x
4,76 mm thick. All tubular aluminum extrusions will be insulated
with foam injected polyurethane at a density of 49 kg/cubic
metre (3.6 lbs/cubic foot) and as per norm ASTM C-518 for
thermal resistance.

The pannels will be made with 1,52 mm thick aluminum sheets
encased into a flexible vinyl channel and held in place with a
rigid PVC snap-on moulding. The bottom section will have double
aluminum sheets with a 6.4 mm thick plywood inserted in between
for shock absorption.

Any section can be glazed with 3 mm thick single clear glass;
6,4 mm thick single wired mesh clear glass; 3,2 mm thick clear
acrylic; 16 mm double skin acrylic or poly-carbonate SDP-16,
clear or bronze; 16 mm only double sealed glass. Glazing is
embedded in a "tremco" tape and held in place with a rigid PVC
snap-on moulding.

A U-shaped santoprene weatherstrip will be inserted into the
base of the bottom section.

Standard: clear anodize aluminum. Options: bronze anodize or any
other available anodize colours; acrylic/polyurethane finish
paint to give a certified thickness of 48 microns, architect's
choice of colour.

Exhaust vents. "Stucco" finish aluminum sheets.
