SERIES 1100 - IMPACT DOORS

Series 1100 is available in sizes up to and including 3048mm
wide x 3048mm high.
For high volume, high speed motorized traffic.
The flexible rubber panels absorb the impact, greatly
reducing the stress on the opening framework, thus eliminating
the need for spring bumpers.
The rugged v-cam hardware is virtually maintenance free.

A 150mm wide x 6mm thick steel frame mounted to a solid
foundation is recommended.

The door body shall be one piece black, abrasion resistant 13mm
thick rubber, between two 11 gauge roll formed steel frames,
reinforced with corner gussets. Each panel to have one window
292mm x 394mm of 3mm thick clear safety acrylic in a cast
aluminum alloy frame. Flexible gasket mounted at the header and
jamb. Door panels shall overlap 50-100mm at the center. One coat
of top quality orange baking enamel to be applied to all exposed
metal parts.

The hinge hardware shall be jamb mounted, v-cam gravity type,
double acting, swinging 90 degrees in each direction. V-cam
gravity hinge hardware shall be an assembly of 33mm in diameter
continuous steel posts with high strenght cast steel alloy
gravity v-cam upper hinge bearing fitted with a 38mm diameter
aircraft quality needle bearing cam yoke roller and high
strength cast steel alloy lower bearing. Doors over 2743mm will
have an additional plain middle bearing. Doors shall have an
adjustable spring compensator. All hardware and springs assembly
shall be galvanized to resist corrosion.
