Dorion Doors was founded in 1948 by Mr. Paul Armand Asselin.
The first garage doors manufactured by the company were the
one-piece wood doors. In 1954, the company showed a trend
towards residential, commercial and industrial sectional doors.
Paul Armand's son, Charles, took over in 1962.
Until the early 70's, the company sold its products across
Canada with a relatively small catalogue.
In the 80's, new catalogues were distributed across Canada and
the United States and have been since revised to include new
products.
Dorion Doors has turned mostly to commercial and industrial
doors of all kinds, creating new ideas through research and
development and expanding overseas. Since 2002, the new owner of
Portes Dorion, Michel Vaillancourt, work to constantly improve
the quality and service.
