When the key is turned to the lock position, pushbuttons are

6 - EXPLOSION PROOF THREE BUTTON CONTROL STATION

operators.
7 - HEAVY DUTY PULL CORD SWITCH.
Used to activate operator to open or close from driver's seat.
Suitable for interior and exterior use.
8 - WEATHERPROOF KEY SWITCHES.
Momentary contact will open and close the door. Can be wall or
post mounted for interior or exterior use.
9 - SINGLE AND DUAL TIMERS.
These timers automatically close the door after a preset time
and control warning signal lights. Single timer is adjustable
from 0 to 90 seconds. Dual mode is adjustable from 0 to 180
seconds an can be wired to control red and green warning signal
lights to desired functions. Both timers will reset to 0 second
each time an opening control is activated during the timer
cycle.
10- MAGNETIC VEHICULE LOOP DETECTORS (SARASOTA 515B).
These are completely transistorized electronic units with dual
function and a continuous automatic self tuning feature. They
are used for detecting the presence or passage of a vehicule
over wire loops embedded in the roadway surface. When a vehicule
passes over the loop, the unit will open the door. If, during
the downward travel of the door, a vehicule passes over the
loop, the door will reverse to the open position.
The dual function permits two loops to be used. When the
exterior loop is not required (overnight), one need only to turn
a switch and only the interior loop will function.

11 - PHOTO-ELECTRIC CONTROLS (OPCON)
These can be used as opening and reversing devices. An infra red
light emitted from the control to a reflector and back. When
this beam is broken, the door will open. If, during the downward
travel of the door a vehicule breaks the beam, the door will
reverse to its fully opened position.
12 - RADIO CONTROLS.
Residential: Used to open and close a door from a distance (ex;
from your car). Available with one or more transmitters.
Commercial: With three positions (Open/close/stop) Transmitters
to control from ONE to TWENTY SEVEN doors with positive action
sliding switch.
14 - ELECTROMECHANICAL SAFETY EDGE.
Installed on the bottom section of the door. When it encounters
an obstruction, the reversing switch is activated and the door
reverses to its fully opened position or it can be wired to
stop.
15 - ELECTROPNEUMATIC SWITCH.
Electropneumatic switch with 305 mm long clear hose to insert
into the AGDS safety edge.
16 - REELITES.
Offered as an option to coil cord. It keeps the cord out of the
way to prevent damage. Shown is a two conductors reelite with
6100mm cord. Three conductors reelite with 9150mm cord.
17 - AGDS SAFETY EDGE.
Santoprene rubber closed at both ends for the air enclosure.
Installed on the bottom section of the door. When it encounters
an obstruction, the reversing switch is activated and the door
reverses to its fully opened position or it can be wired to
stop.

18 - TRAFFIC LIGHTS.
Available as dual (red & green) or single (red or green) set.
They are enclosed in a weatherproof housing and have 203mm
diameter lenses. Galvanised mounting bracelets are included.
Flashing signal is optional. The required voltage is 110 V.A.C.
Also available in 240 V.A.C., one phase and three phase
operators, at extra costs. Standard operation: red light is on
when the door is moving up or down; the green light is on when
the door is opened; both lights are closed when door is closed.

19 - CHAIN SPREADER.
For use on jackshaft type operators. It is designed to be
installed between the operator drive shaft to keep the drive
chain tight.
20 - 1.5 SECOND TIME DELAY RELAY
Used in conjunction with instant reverse wiring. It prevents
harsh jolting of the door and cables during reversing cycle.
(optional at an extra cost).
21 - 1 AMP. RESET.
Used in lieu of fuse. Installed with reset button protruding
from control box which allows customers to reset the unit
themselves. It eliminates problems caused by blowing fuses due
to shorts during hook-ups (optional at an extra cost).
22 - HEATER PACKAGE.
Consist of heater strip 150W standard, (250W or 500W optional at
an extra cost) thermostat and tranformer (not required on single
phase units).
23 - KEY POST STAND.
Heavy duty stand: can be used to house key switch (a) or card
reader (b).
24 - PD20 VEHICULE DETECTOR.
Replaces loops either temporarily or permanently. Easy to
install or repair. No seasonal tuning required. Detects smallest
licensed vehicules.
25 - MAGNETIC HOLDERS: TYPE FS.
Continuously energized fail safe unit. Releases when there is an
interruption of power supply. Available in 110 V.A.C., 24
V.A.C., 24 V.D.C. or 12 V.D.C.
26 - MAGNETIC HOLDERS: TYPE AR.
Releases when current is applied om signal from the detector or
alarm system. Available with adjustable time delay only in 110
V.
27 - SMOKE DETECTORS: PHOTOELECTRIC TYPE.
Can be furnished with heat detector as well. Available for 115
volt service, U.L. listed.
28 - SMOKE DETECTORS: IONIZATION TYPE.
Available for 115 volt. Trim, compact, low profile design. U.L.
listed.
